What we cover, what we don’t, and how to make a claim. These terms apply to WildCore™ hardware sold by Concurrent Design, Inc.
Concurrent Design, Inc. warrants WildCore hardware products against defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use, for one (1) year from the date of original purchase. If a covered defect appears during the warranty period — the product stops working and it wasn’t caused by external damage, misuse, modification, or the exclusions below — we will, at our option, repair the product, replace it with an equivalent or better unit, or refund the purchase price. Replacement parts or units may be new or refurbished and are warranted for the remainder of the original period.
What’s not covered: normal wear; cosmetic imperfections on 3D-printed parts (see below); damage from wildlife, pests, or environmental events (see below); damage from improper installation, modified firmware or hardware, incorrect power connections, or use outside published specifications; batteries and other consumables; and cellular or cloud service plans, which are governed by their own terms.
Determination of coverage: Because field conditions vary more than any list can capture, whether a returned unit qualifies as a covered defect is determined by Concurrent Design upon inspection, in our reasonable judgment. Our decision on warranty coverage is final.
Beyond the warranty: We stand behind what we build. Even outside the warranty period or coverage terms, we may — at our sole discretion, as a courtesy — elect to repair or replace a device. Such goodwill service is voluntary, is not an admission of coverage, and does not extend or restart any warranty period.
To make a claim: contact us via the contact page with your order information and a description of the problem. We may ask for photos or return of the unit before service.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY, AND CONCURRENT DESIGN IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST FEED, MISSED FEEDING CYCLES, OR LOST HUNTING OPPORTUNITY. Some states do not allow limits on implied-warranty duration or exclusion of incidental/consequential damages, so the above may not fully apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have others that vary by state.
Some WildCore enclosures and accessory housings are produced using industrial 3D printing with carbon-fiber-reinforced ASA. Minor layer lines, small surface marks, slight texture or color variation, and occasional tiny blemishes are normal characteristics of this manufacturing process. They do not affect fit, weather resistance, durability, or operation, and are not considered defects. We do not accept returns or exchanges for minor cosmetic imperfections on printed parts or enclosures.
This policy applies to cosmetics only — it does not limit your coverage for functional defects under our standard warranty.
These are working tools built for the woods. After one season of corn dust and weather, nobody — including you — will ever spot a layer line.
WildCore products are built to live outdoors, but they share the woods with things that bite, chew, claw, and nest. Damage caused by animals, insects, or pests — including but not limited to bears, raccoons, rodents, beavers, squirrels, ants, wasps, and other wildlife — is not covered under warranty. This includes chewed cables, gnawed or torn enclosures, nesting damage, and corrosion or shorts caused by insect intrusion. Damage from flooding, submersion, lightning, or fire is likewise not covered.
A little prevention goes a long way: mount the controller out of easy reach, keep cable runs tight, and check inside the enclosure when you refill the feeder. You wouldn’t let bugs move into your house or your truck — don’t let them move into your controller.
